Smart Forex Tester Suite is designed for automated testing and trading in the Forex Market.

Classic (or manual) Forex Trading is not an easy task and thus is not for everyone. It is common knowledge that human psychology is one of the principal factors influencing the success in trading. Namely, majority of novice traders don’t have enough self-discipline to to follow their strategy, which leads to losses. In addition to being a constant stress, manual trading might require a lot of time to monitor markets and open positions.

Automated Trading can considerably help in solving psychological issues, by letting the software do the routine work, if the Trading Strategy has been properly encoded. Our Automated Trading software provides a means to formalize a Forex Trading Strategy as XML-based finite state machine and offers a framework to reliable run the Trading Strategy in automatic mode. The trader can just monitor the overall process and make corrections if necessary, e.g. changing the Trading Strategy or just exiting the market.

The software consists of two main subsystems: Automated Trading Module and Forex Strategy Tester. Trading subsystem uses MetaTrader™ client terminal only for orders’ execution. The MetaTrader™ Expert Advisor software is designed to incorporate external trading library written in C++. The Expert Advisor works as a proxy that executes trading commands coming from the library, where all trading decisions are made. This design makes it possible to shorten development cycle for the new trading strategies.

Forex Strategy Tester is a powerful stand-alone strategy backtesting tool that runs independently, but which also has an imbuilt interface to connect to MetaTrader™ client terminal.
