This product was implemented as a part of the system proposed in our publication “Shared Shopping List as Context-Aware Mobile Service”. It is intended for personalized sending of reminders and location-based advertisements to Bluetooth-enabled handsets.

The server is developed in Linux environment using BlueZ Bluetooth framefork. The server is a stand-alone Linux box, which can be connected to the central subscriber DB. It has a Web GUI for service providers and administrators. The Web GUI is implemented using Drupal technology.

The server is designed to work with multiple Bluetooth adapters and can be deployed on virtually any low-end industrial PC.
